Disability Parking Permits in Australia are issued by your state and local government transport departments. The Parking Permit Scheme is designed to help people with genuine mobility disabilities and is not simply for convenience. Disability Parking Bays are incorporated into the Building Code with an Australian and New Zealand Standards design. It allows for more space for mobility aids to fit beside the car and access to premises without obstruction.

There should be an easy option to report bad drivers.
I often witness rude and uneducated people parking in the disable spot without a permit and I even was punched by a female because I was taking shots of her car.
I do volunteering for elderly people and I understand the importance of the “right” of the disable spot.
